A spatial–temporal analysis approach for flutter predictions using decoupled and fully-coupled methods

چکیده

Accurate and efficient numerical predictions of flutter is essential for the turbomachinery industry. The decoupled method has been main workhorse industry decades thanks to its low computational resources required. However, there arises need an innovative propulsion architecture a lightweight material, which hinders accuracy effectiveness method. Hence, use fully-coupled methods steadily increasing. Despite more demanding needed perform simulations, large amount data generated in time-domain not often used efficiently. Typically aeroelastic stability judged straightforward manner using logarithmic decrement. Although this global parameter useful compare among configurations, it yields almost no meaningful understanding physical vibration mechanisms. In present paper, spatial–temporal analysis approach based on Hilbert transform proposed. It can work well with non-linear non-stationary typically from solutions. addition, transform-based designed be consistent conventional energy when newly developed applied simulation data. three examples, each particular flow mechanisms interest (i.e. tip clearance, laminar separation bubble, stall). new shown effectively elucidate associated decomposition space time.

Flow Field Analysis of Fully Coupled Computations of a Flexible Wing undergoing Stall Flutter

Fully coupled CFD-CSD simulations using HPCMP CREATETM-AV Kestrel were performed to compute the dynamic aeroelastic behavior of a torsionally flexible, finite aspect ratio NACA0018 wing. The uncontrolled dynamic instability resulted a very periodic limit cycle oscillation largely governed by the dynamic stall phenomenon. Three-dimensional effects due to the spanwise twist variation produces a l...

development of different optical methods for determination of glucose using cadmium telluride quantum dots and silver nanoparticles

a simple, rapid and low-cost scanner spectroscopy method for the glucose determination by utilizing glucose oxidase and cdte/tga quantum dots as chromoionophore has been described. the detection was based on the combination of the glucose enzymatic reaction and the quenching effect of h2o2 on the cdte quantum dots (qds) photoluminescence.in this study glucose was determined by utilizing glucose...
